- Condition. As the owner, you are in control of the condition of the property. A good agent will advise you on what to do to prepare your home for the market in order to increase its perceived value. Ultimately, as the homeowner, it’s up to you to ensure your home is in good condition.
- Price. As the owner, you control this as well, but your agent should be able to guide you. Price is intertwined with marketing. Even is a home is well-marketed, if it's priced incorrectly it will not sell. Additionally, a home that is priced correctly but not marketed well won’t sell, either.
